Christmas in California
Well, it's that time of year again! Nearly 80 degrees the week before Christmas. Went for a jog this evening. Felt great. We had Drew and Jack over this morning for cookie decorating and a Christmas movie. Fun! They are awesome! Legos have sure come a long way. Drew brought his Star Wars lego set. It took us over an hour just to put together the head of one of the giant walking machines. I think it should say on the box, "MIT grads and up"! Also went to Disneyland this week with some of the fam! Fun time. Merry Christmas!

Hello Bloggers!!! and Happy New Year. 2009 will be a great year of prayer and hope. I've been spending most my time with Facebook which has turned out to be a blast. i started with 7 friends and now, over 100, and counting. i've connected and am continueing to connect with old friends from Lakewood High School. My friend, Nan, has started a site for CERES sisters to connect. we hope we'll find alot more friends out there. especially from the yrs. 1969=1972ish.. We did finally finish our house project and it looks real cute. We had a wonderful Christmas with lots of parties. Rob and i are excited to see what God has in store for our country with our new president and office. We keep our eyes on the Lord and know who holds our future. Christmas was hard for my sister,Debbie, and i with our parents gone but we just hold on tighter to each other and enjoy ea. day the Lord gives all of us to it's fullest. Rob and i had a great 2008 and ended fall with a trip to the East coast. Ithica NY, Niagra on the Canadian side (awesome) and the "Grand" finaly trip to Macanac island Ms. to the Somewhere in Time Festival. WOW. Great food, costumes, friendships and activities. cold weather gets you all ready for winter fun. We look forward to going again this yr.

Friends
Rob and i have taken on the project of painting our house,( Stucko) yuck! it eats up alot of paint and time. The house is looking beautiful. We've had some good comments from the neighbors, their the ones who have to look at it. i'm so glad they all are liking the color. i love it . This old house feels new. We've started a FB site and have been smitten by it. it's so fun to find friends. i think we all like to be able to say we have a friend or 2. when i started, i had 7 friends. i wondered what would i do with that many. do i have time to send them all a cookie, flair, cupcakes, awards? well surprize! i'm going on 39 friends and i'm finding it so fun to check out their family pictures and read what they are doing. my cousins have 200 and 300 friends. i can't amagine sending all of them a flair:)) but how fun this FB has become. Are you on Fb? do you feel better because of the number of "friends" you have? Bottom line is, we all want to be loved. If we were to understand the debth of God's love we would probably feel more succure, but God does ask us to Love our neighbors as ourselves. So we need friends. We want friends and we love friends. I quess that's all for now, your Friend, kathy
